The Anthropology Students Association (ASA) is a student organization run by anthropology undergraduate and graduate students. The purpose of the ASA is to offer a forum that promotes interaction among people who are interested in anthropology.
The ASA plans several education, social, and service-oriented events each year such as lectures, social gatherings at local establishments, community services (at the city and university levels) and activities that, in general, promote interest in anthropology. In addition, the ASA serves as a vehicle for student communications with the Department of Anthropology faculty members.
If you are interested in learning more about the ASA feel free to explore this site or contact us. If you are looking to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia for a degree in anthropology, you may wish to read the Prospective Student Information page on this website.
