Service Projects

Adopt-a-Highway:
Each semester members participate in picking up trash along Highway 63.

Adopt-a-Family:
As a part of a new service project, Student Council is encouraging all CAFNR clubs to Adopt-a-Family through the Voluntary Action Center. Student Council will organize a time when all organizations can come together to gather and wrap their gifts.

Fall Roundup

Fall Roundup is an event held each fall for incoming and transfer students to the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. Students hear about different opportunities available to them in CAFNR. The event also includes a CAFNR club fair where students can sign-up to be involved in different organizations within the College.

Preview Mizzou is held every fall and geared toward high school students who are interested in attending Mizzou and majoring in an agricuture, food, or natural resource field.

This all-day event takes prospective students through sessions about each CAFNR major, financial aid planning, and extracurricular activities. Preview Mizzou also allows potential students to meet current college students and ask them questions about college.
