About us

For more than a century, Sinfonians in nearly every field of study and professional endeavor have transformed the face of music in America. Today, the Brotherhood represents a diverse group of individuals spanning the nation who continue the proud tradition of advancing the Fraternity's object:

The Object of this Fraternity shall be for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the advancement of music in America and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.

We are the Zeta Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, located at the University of Missouri-Columbia. We are an active chapter striving to further our social, musical and philanthropic contributions to our school and surrounding community. Contact us any time by e-mailing us.

• Initiation: Sunday, April 26, 7 p.m. @ Central Methodist University (pin wear)
• State Music Fest: Friday May 1 - Saturday May 2, ALL DAY @ Fine Arts Building, Lowry Mall, Loeb Hall, Memorial Union

• March 8-14: White Week (no ceremony)
• March 15-21: Red Week (ceremony during MDC)
• March 22-28: Off week (Spring Break)
• March 29-April 4: Off week
• April 5-11: Black Week (ceremony during MDC)
• April 12-18: Off week
• April 19-25: Gold Week (ceremony during MDC)
