What a memorable school year this has been.  I'm not sure I have words to express how great my first year at Theta has been.  I was excited to return to my alma mater, but I had no idea how much I would really enjoy being "mom" to the men at Theta. 

I could fill pages with thanks to all the AGR's that have made this possible, but hopefully, they know who they are.  Pleas allow me this opportunity to thank a few as a way of sharing my year.  Thanks to Thad Koengsfeld for talking me into applying for this job, and Jeff Bauman for the trip to Grain Valley to bring my contract .  Thanks also to Aaron Puchbauer, Andrew Brandt, and Joe Don McGaugh for putting up with the numerous phone calls and e-mail all summer to answer my questions about my apartment, the recruits, and my job.  I must thank Matt Stuever for getting me hooked up to the internet and solving all of my computer problems!  And I cannot forget the Elsberry-Trio of Andrew, Adam, and Michael.  I wouldn't have made it without their late night Diet Coke runs.  Matt Henderson has been a great housemother liaison.  Leslie Jett has been so very helpful and makes entertaining at 602 S. College a breeze!  Finally, thanks to Cory Robinson for keeping me so well informed and helping me feel so much a part of life at AGR. 

I have also enjoyed great support and encouragment from alumni and parents.  I have enjoyed your visits to the Chapter House and invited you to come often. You are all so important to the young me at Theta. 

As the year comes to an end, I'm already making plans for next year.  I hope to see many alumni and parents at the House Betterment Day on August 6th.
