What We Are
We are the official Anime and Manga Student Organization for the University Of Missouri-Columbia. We started the fall semester '94, but unfortunately things didn't quite fall into place until winter semester '96. Now we are officially recognized by the university and are granted all the privileges and responsibilities associated with that affiliation.

What We Do
We are just the same as every other fan organization out there. We just LOVE anime! To that effect, then, we want it to be as publicly known as possible. The more the public knows about anime and manga, the better the chance it has of being accepted by the masses. We are constantly struggling to get the mass conception of anime away from the "it's nothing but sex and violence" stereotype that has been so well perpetuated in America. Anime is so much more than that as it spans across all genres, from adventure to drama, action to comedy, not to mention its use as an art form itself. Our goal, our purpose, is to start (or to help along) the anime revolution that will sweep America and get anime publicly accepted, in all of its shapes and forms.
