Mom’s and Dad’s Weekends                      
Believe it or not, now that we are in college, we cannot wait for our Parent’s to visit! Dad’s weekend happens every fall, and we all head to a Mizzou football together. Each spring, we welcome our Mom’s to Columbia and enjoy the beautiful weather out at the winery, which overlooks the Missouri River.

The university also hosts a parent’s weekend in the fall. Though Alpha Phi does not hold additional events that weekend, we welcome parents to come by the house for tour, or a break from walking to and from the football game. Snacks are always available.

Initiation Banquet
In Alpha Phi, we celebrate the initiation of our newest members. This is a very special day in her life, and her family is always invited to join in on the celebration. Typically, initiation is scheduled for Saturday or Sunday, and the lunchtime banquet will immediately follow the ceremony.

Homecoming and Greek Week
Both of these events are HUGE for Greek students at Mizzou. Many of our members participate in various components of these events. Parents are certainly welcome and encourage to come cheers on their daughters who might appear on stage for skit and dance competitions, be playing Greek Week games or helping build the campus decorations skit during Homecoming weekend.
