The Craft Studio is a recreational art facility that provides space, tools, and instruction to help you explore your creativity, learn new skills, and socialize with other crafters. We offer a wide variety of classes and workshops to fit almost any schedule, budget, and craft interest. Our studio space is furnished with hundreds of tools and open to members to work on independent projects.

The Craft Studio will be closed Saturday, November 2st - Sunday, November 22nd.

We will be open on Monday, November 23rd - Tuesday, November 24th, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

We will be closed Wednesday, November 25th - Sunday, November 29th.

Regular hours will resume Monday, November 30th.

Yes, you read that correctly. Thanks to our good friends at ORG and the Student Design Center, we now offer free screen-printing services for student organizations. How does that work? Good question. The answers and an application are on the Group Events & Services page. Print the application, fill it out, bring it to the Craft Studio. It's that easy! We have another new service! Yea! Now, you can make 1" buttons at the Craft Studio for your group, event, or just because you want a cute button for yourself. Get the details on our Group Events & Services page.

Have you registered for all the exciting classes and workshops you want to take? Things are filling much quicker than we expected, even the Free CRAFTernoons, so come on in and register as soon as possible. In light of the tough economic times ahead, we want to provide more free workshops for MU students, faculty, staff and the public, but we need your help. If you are in possession of art, craft, and some random supplies that you were planning on throwing away or are never really going to use yourself, you can now donate them to the Craft Studio. Download our wish list and bring us your junk, the Craft Studio and our planet will thank you.
