Mission
“To support the integration of principles of Jesus Christ and professional social work education and practice in the lives of its members, influencing the profession and church, promoting love and justice in social service and promoting social reform”
Everyone is welcomed to participate in CSWA. It is an atmosphere in which all are encouraged to celebrate the love of Christ and apply it in our everyday lives.
Bi-monthly meetings to provide a comfortable atmosphere of encouragement.
Facilitated discussions at meetings to learn from each other and process our journey through the social work program.
Planned devotions to keep our focus on integrating our faith into our practice skills.
Networking with faculty and local practicing social workers.
Serving the social work department and community organizations.
Membership
Members pay annual dues of $20, which can be paid $10 a semester. To become a member, please contact an officer (see below). We can place you on our e-mail listserv.
The meetings are open to any person interested. However, all business decision and committees with be made up of paid-members only. You do not have to be a member to volunteer for fund-raising and service projects.
