2004 – Engineers Without Borders-USA (EWB-USA) founded in Colorado.
2006
January – Mizzou Chapter of EWB is founded by Katie Pfefferkorn, a junior in Chemical Engineering
March – Engineers Without Borders becomes a campus-recognized student organization and open to all students and faculty.
May – Matt Parsons (Sr. Mechanical Engineering) and Katie Pfefferkorn join University of Missouri-Rolla EWB Bolivia Project team to build a composting latrine and assess geotechnical stabilization for an agrarian village in the Andes Mountains.
June – Cole Duckworth (So. Civil Engineering) and David Brost (Sr. Mechanical Engineering join the UMR-EWB Guatemala Project team to build earthquake proof housing in Jerez, Guatemala.
August – Kansas City starts a Profession Chapter of EWB.
October - EWB Workshop in St. Louis
