The International Connection (IC) exists to foster friendships and mentorship relationships between American and international students. It is a mutually beneficial experience, as each party has the invaluable opportunity to become familiar with different cultures, forging lasting friendships across societal barriers.

IC is relationship driven rather than organized event driven. In this regard, IC strives to provide international students with the opportunity to engage in a close friendship with an American student--a relationship not at all unlike his or her friendships back home.

In other words, IC exists to:

  • Establish friendships between international and American students.
  • Let you grow your friendship however you want (within legal constraints, of course) and at your own pace.
  • Examples: Hang out, go out with friends, go out to eat, catch a movie, lift or play sports together, go to football/basketball games, etc.

Were not about rules, regulations, time commitment or meetings.

Have fun!
