Brotherhood is something special and unique at Kappa Alpha Order. It is more than just being friends; it is have a bond with others that is unbreakable. Each person is sharing their lives with others and developing a relationship that will last a lifetime. Kappa Alpha is more than just a fraternity, it is an Order that will always bring fulfillment. Any organization can be called a brotherhood, but at Kappa Alpha it is a bond.

We strive to have an exceptionally strong brotherhood that is encouraged from the first time you walk in the door. Through numerous brotherhood events and experiencing many unforgettable memories together, the bond of brotherhood is continually strengthened. Some of our brotherhood activities are attending various concerts or sporting events where we rent buses and go to different cities. Also, we have an incredible 3 on 3 basketball tournament call the Jake Shuttlesworth Classic, where we divide the brothers into teams and invite all the sorority girls over. This is just an example of our events, but it is the relationships among us that keeps the brotherhood strong.

Because the bond of brotherhood is so strong, a person is not a KA for a mere four years, but for a lifetime. Alumni support and involvement is stronger at Kappa Alpha than at any other fraternity on campus, and it is crucial to the livelihood of our chapter.
