Alumni are extremely important at Alpha Kappa; they are the life-blood and the backbone of the chapter. We are proud to have such rich and strong alumni base. Thousands of great men have passed through these doors since Kappa Alpha's founding at Mizzou in 1891. Through there continued support, we are able to be a great chapter and excel in many areas.

This years Alumni weekend will be September 30, 2005 – October 2, 2005. We encourage all alumni to come back to the house and interact with the active chapter as well as other alumni brothers. This should be a great, fun-filled weekend, and we encourage everyone to attend. Please tell other alumni brothers that you know about this weekend.

On Saturday, the Tigers will be playing the Texas Longhorns, but the game time is still TBA. We are anticipating a 2:30pm kickoff though. Assuming that 2:30 kickoff time, the events are as follows:

· Sept. 30 - 6:00 p.m. cocktail party on the house patio; hors d’ovoures will be served

· Oct. 1 – Tailgate 3 hours prior to the game at the corner of Providence and Champions drive – a shuttle will begin from the house

· Oct. 2 - 10:30 a.m. brunch at Country Club of Missouri – Directions available at the house
