He will be giving a talk, open to the public, about his campaign and his ideas for a libertarian presidency. His talk will end at 11:30AM, and anyone is welcome to come to lunch with him and the Mid-Missouri Libertarians at Perkin's afterward.

Thomas Rustici will be here to speak on the subject of economics and public policy in the free market on Saturday, November 8th.
Mr. Rustici is a libertarian and an instructor and head of undergraduate development for the economics department of George Mason University. He holds masters degrees in Economics and Public Policy from GMU. He is the editor and co-author of a series of free market books for high school students that will accompany a video series by John Stossel of ABC. He has also published in the Cato Journal, The Free Market, and Religion and Liberty.
Mr. Rustici is enthusiastic about having an opportunity to speak at MU - he enjoys giving lectures promoting libertarian ideas and practices in the fields of economics and public policy, and his lectures are very well-received by a wide range of people.

Dan Viets, General Counsel for the ACLU of Mid-Missouri, will be giving a presentation titled "Know Your Rights". NORML has a page about some of the positions he's held and lists a couple of awards he's won.

Neal Boortz will be here to speak on Saturday, November 22nd, courtesy of your friendly, neighborhood Campus Libertarians. This event is free and open to the public! It was paid for by the MU Student Organization Allocation Committee, the Missouri Libertarian Party, and wonderful, private donors.
Mr. Boortz is a nationally syndicated, libertarian radio talk show host and columnist. He is the 2002 Radio & Records NewsTalk Personality of the year, and his program can be heard on over 125 radio stations across the United States, including on The Eagle 93.9 in Columbia. A former attorney, he has been in the talk radio business since 1969 and has been nationally syndicated since 1999. His current listenership is over 4 million daily to his three-hour program.
Again, the event is free and open to the public, and his book The Terrible Truth About Liberals will be available at the bookstore and at the event itself. All main doors to Jesse Hall (directions to Jesse Hall) will be open at 11:30 in order to start seating for the event. Parking in Turner Avenue Garage the day of the event will also be free and open to the public.
