June 16th, 2003 - movie night

June 16th at 7:30 PM we'll be meeting at Jaime's house outside of Columbia to watch at least two movies, The Fountainhead and Dr. Strangelove.  Food, drink, and other stuff to be announced.  Please e-mail Jaime, Adam, or Lisa for the address and driving directions to Jaime's.

October 2nd, 2003 - Columbia lunch meeting

From 11:30AM to 1:00PM, libertarians from the Columbia area / Boone County will be meeting up for lunch at Perkins. We will be doing some last-minute planning for the Boortz event and the Badnarik event as well. Anyone is welcome.

Michael Badnarik will be here to on Saturday, October 18th, courtesy of the Campus Libertarians.  He will be giving his Constitution Class, the purpose of which is to help anyone who is interested understand more about every aspect of every part of the document. This is open to the public, and each paying attendee will be provided with a book tailored by Mr. Badnarik especially for the course.

The class will be from 10AM to 7PM, with a 1-hour break for lunch [and chatter]. Straight from Mr. Badnarik: "Please assure everyone that my class is unlike any others people might be familiar with. I can guarantee that no one will fall asleep." This shouldn't be missed!

Although Michael Badnarik is one of the Libertarian Party nominees for President in 2004, the class itself is non-partisan, and anyone and everyone is welcome!  Those who come to the class are also invited to come to dinner at Boone Tavern afterwards and talk with Badnarik about the class, libertarianism, his campaign, or anything else you're interested in.

October 12, 2004 - Meet & Greet

The candidates for U.S. Senate will be debating at Jesse Auditorium. It will be held at 5:30pm.

You need to have a ticket to get in, and the MU Campus Libertarians have several. I'll give out these tickets on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you're interested in a ticket to the debate, let me know (email me at mantispid@mantispid.com). MU Students will have priority.

October 15, 2004 - Meet & Greet

Mike Ferguson, Libertarian candidate for Lt. Governor of Missouri, will
be in town Friday night.

The Mid-Missouri Libertarians and the MU Campus Libertarians are
invited to have dinner with the candidate at the Pasta Factory at 7 PM.
The reserved room can only accomodate 50, so you'll need to RSVP to
liberty@students.missouri.edu if you're coming just in case we think
we're going to be close to 4 dozen.
