Who We Are The MRS doesn't exist in a vacuum. In fact, we'd probably have a lot less fun if we did. We are affiliated with the Society for Creative Anachronism, an international not-for-profit organization of about 100,000 members. Locally, our activities overlap those of the Shire of the Standing Stones, which is our name for Columbia, Missouri. Standing Stones is part of the Kingdom of Calontir, which includes Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and a bit of of Arkansas. Following are some links to the "broader picture."
The Society for Creative Anachronism: This is the SCA's main page. It's a good place to find information about the Society in general and its chapters all over the world.
The Kingdom of Calontir: If you live in the region, here's where you can find out if there's an SCA group in your home town. This page also contains a link to the Kingdom Events Page, so you can find out what's going on and where.
The Shire of the Standing Stones: Much of the information found on the MRS pages is duplicated here, but there is also some unique and useful information.
