Greetings gentle traveler! Whether you came here by intention or by chance, you are most welcome.

The MU Medieval Reenactment Society is a student organization dedicated to study and recreate aspects of the middle ages, and to form a liaison when necessary between the University of Missouri - Columbia and the Society for Creative Anachronism. We work with the local SCA group, the Shire of the Standing Stones. Please update your bookmarks! The Shire website has moved to http://www.stonescalontir.com/

The MRS is a nonprofit educational group that encourages students to develop a better understanding of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance through research and historical reenactment. The SCA and MRS are both dedicated to reenacting the time period prior to the year 1600 A.D.

To that end, we attempt to recreate all aspects of pre-seventeenth century life that are not dangerous or unsanitary. If there is something that you are interested in specifically, the odds are that you will find at least one other person interested in the same thing.
