(As of 11/26/07):    Welcome aboard Laura Royse as Tigers Credit Union's new Business Development Manager! Royse previously worked at Les Bourgeois Vineyards as head of marketing and sales for seven years. In her new position, she will implement new internship programs in marketing and sales and will create new marketing and sales strategies throughout the credit union.

(As of 9/25/06):    Our first Money Market Account was opened today!

(As of 9/18/06):    The cornerstone was set today in our partnership between Sustain Mizzou and Landscape Services/MU recycling. Check here for more details.

(As of 8/15/06):    We have partnered with the Office for Financial Success (OFS) - a service of the MU Dept. of Personal Financial Planning. Click here for more details. This partnership will allow Tigers Credit Union members to get access to professionals able and willing to help them with their financial decisions. 

(As of 8/10/06):    We have a new logo! It took us two months to settle on it and we are very proud of it. We find it clever, unique, and more representative of our  field of membership (mainly MU Tigers); we hope you agree with us. (posted 08/11/06)


(As of 7/1/06):    Those using Virtual Branch will have noticed that the capacity is there for you to view copies of checks you have written to others and that have cleared your account. This capability is available only to those that are using checks with their new account number. We will be happy to order a 50-pack of checks with your new account info FREE of charge if you so desire; let us know by contacting us. (posted 08/11/06)

(On 6/22/06):    All of you that check your statements on a regular basis will have noticed that a "Special MSFCU Dividend" was paid on 6/22/06. Consider it a reward for your trust in us and loyalty to us over the years. The Board of Directors at MSFCU paid that dividend to owners/members of our credit union out of earnings our credit union had generated over the years but that we had not yet paid out as dividends (we had been saving up to pay for product and service enhancements). (As of 7/1/06):    As members of the CO-OP network we have FREE access to thousands of ATMs around the country (click here to find a free ATM close to you). Your card works abroad also (however, due to fraud withdrawals to the following countries is limited to $200.00 per day: Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Morocco, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, North Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey). (posted 7/9/06)

(As of 7/1/06):    We upgraded our computers and our software, this required us to make all accounts 9-digits long. Stop-by one of these days and we will tell you your new account number. In the meantime you can keep using your old checks (even though they will still list our old name, our old routing number, and your old account number).

(As of 7/1/06):    We are now operating on a "real-time" platform, not a batch file system.  This means that if you do an ATM transaction it will post to your account immediately (you won't have to wait until the next morning for it to post).

(As of 7/1/06):   Some fees have gone away (you are not limited to 6 free ATM trans. fees per month from CO-OP ATM's, PC Banking is now free, etc.).

(As of 7/1/06):   If we are forced to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account in order to pay for a check or other transaction that you have authorized there will be a $5.00 fee accessed for such transfer. The best way to avoid this is to transfer money  by calling us, stopping by our lobby, or using Virtual Branch  (check the Truth-In-Savings disclosures for limits placed on all transfers that are not done in person).

(As of 7/1/06):    We changed our name to Tigers Credit Union from Missouri Student Federal Credit Union (read the FAQ page for more info on that).
