• Promote freedom from superstition, irrationality and dogmatic religious assumptions
• Further the acceptance and application of science, reason and critical thinking
• Cultivate in ourselves and others a sense of responsibility to and compassion for humanity
• Promote humanistic values, e.g. tolerance, compassion, empathy and honesty, in our society
• Counter all forms of religious political extremism
• Defend religious freedom and the separation of church and state
• Defend individual freedoms and civil rights for all persons regardless of race, sex, class, creed, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
• Unite campus freethinkers in pursuit of these common goals
