Come check out the Tigers on Saturday, September 22 at 8 p.m. as they take on the Illinois State Icebirds! All home games are played at Washington Park Ice Arena in Jefferson City.

Mizzou Hockey Highlights
The current University of Missouri ice hockey team is part of a growing program. For the past three years, since joining the ACHA, Mizzou has continued to improve both on and off the ice. The goal of the program is to develop and maintain a fun, high quality hockey program for the large number of hockey players attending the University of Missouri. We have steadily increased the talent level on the team and our home crowds get bigger and bigger. Our current roster consists of players from St. Louis but also from Chicago, Omaha, and Minnesota. Our key achievements this past season include: our regular season DII Gold Division championship, a victory over the University of Michigan at ACHA Regionals, and just missing a trip to the 16 team National tournament with a 2-1 loss to Central Michigan. Our future hopes are focused on continued on-ice success and the development of an ice rink in the city of Columbia.
General information on the Mizzou hockey team:
- member of the ACHA and MACHA, DII
- play approximately 35 game schedule
- won the Gold division regular season title last season with a 10-2 record
- season runs from tryouts in late August until first week in March
- practices are currently in Jefferson City (25 miles south) - once per week during game weeks and twice during non-game weeks
- chance of a rink in Columbia by next hockey season
- team carries at least 14 forwards, 8 defensemen, and three goaltenders, only 21 can dress per game
- team skates are scheduled during the summer in the St. Louis area
- last seasons key additions included Keith Van Gels ( Bowling Green, NCAA D1), Brock Gale (Team Missouri), Tony Jost (St. Louis Jr. Blues Jr. B), Tony Maus (Team Missouri)
