Perche Creek
We row on world-renowned* Perche Creek. Perche is located approximately 20 minutes south/southwest of campus, running parrallel to the Katy Trail. Perche is an access point to the Missouri River, located just a few miles downstream from Providence Access, where we launch from.
Perche Creek is a fickle creek, with many moods. Most of the time she is calm and clear, providing us ample room in which to practice. Other times she is ornery, blocking our way with logs, fog, fist-sized mosquitos, near-freezing water, jumping fish, nearby hunters, and the occasional old railroad bridge.
