A dynamo, originally another name for electrical generator, was the first electrical generators capable of delivering power for industry. The Dynamo Effect is a late night television showcasing the talents of Mizzou's dynamos, the people involved on campus in a variety of different organizations who are constantly using their own energy to generate new ideas and improve the world we live in. During the program, a variety of different events and people are spotlighted to encourage everyone to get involved and make their own positive impact on the university.
The Dynamo Effect will premere in January 2010 on MUTV channel 23.
