Triple Play is a sports-trivia game show centered on three contestants vying for top honors by displaying their extensive knowledge of any and all sports through a three-round series of questions. The first round consists of knowing exact numbers (dates, stats, etc), the second of knowing which of three players fits various descriptions, and the final round in which the last player standing has to answer, in limited time, five of ten correct answers for three different categories of sports, which the contestant chooses.
