About Recycle Mountain:

Recycle mountain is an event in which we give a visual representation of what the campus recycles in a day. Bales of recyclable paper, plastic, and cardboard is arranged in the high-traffic Lowry Mall and volunteers offer recycling information to passers-by. The idea is to raise awareness about on-campus recycling.

Volunteer Opportunities:

We need volunteers to stand on Recycle Mountain and talk to people about recycling. Volunteers can also help with setting up and breaking down the mountain.

Volunteer Benefits:

  • Learn more about MU Recycling
  • Meet and hang out with great people
  • Feel a rush of excitement as you stand atop 6-foot high recyclables.
